It was a regular Tuesday night, I was at home and got a Facebook notification… somebody texting my business page in Portuguese. Miguel lived in Brazil for a while and his Portuguese was very good 🙂

He asked me to be their wedding photographer, for the next Tuesday, yes, 1-week notice! They live in Ensenada, Mexico, he was with Harriet so we got into a video call, I could feel they so strong connection and couldn’t wait to photograph that love.

They met in junior high, were big friends for while, and started dating… after several years together, there was no formal wedding proposal, the idea of getting married was born because they just want to spend the rest of their lives together.

They had a quick ceremony at Graceland Wedding Chapel and I took them to their love Downtown session right after…

It was a lot of fun and at some point, I asked them to do a running photo and Harriet asked me if she could do it barefoot because her high heels were not comfortable so this lady gave her shoes to Harriet, not only for the photos but as a gift! I get so happy to see every day how the Las Vegas community is so supportive of our brides!!
