Wedding Photography is so much more than just what you end up making your profile photo

I want to let you know that I’ll be there when you need me, but out of your way when you don’t. If you feel 1% uncomfortable, chances are that it will show in the photos. I know how weird it can be to be in front of a camera, that’s why my goal is make you relaxed so you will look natural in the pictures. I love taking a beautiful, romantic, posed photo that will look amazing on your wall, but I’m much more concerned with the candid photographs that will mean even more in 20 years than they do today

FAQS

• WHAT’S YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

My focus is on capturing moments throughout the day as they happen versus styling shots with precise lighting and posing. This style of wedding photography gets its name because of its similarity to the way photojournalists cover everyday news stories—by relying on candid moments versus orchestrating them but I’ll do some posed pictures too for sure.

• HOW SHOULD I BEHAVE FOR PHOTOS ON THE WEDDING DAY?

I’d rather you be together. Talking, laughing, dancing… the more intimate with both of you and your loved ones is what makes the delivery of great images more successful.
Of course, there will be some poses that I will take care of, but please, in general, don’t worry about what to do besides being yourself!

• HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED FOR PHOTOS?

For elopements in most cases takes place during 3 hours of photography, while most traditional weddings run in over 6 hours on average and for couple sessions for about 1 hour. The more I am with you, the better our day will be to ensure the quality of the images for your story.
So, most of the time, we strive to find the sunsets, sunrises or the best place.

• HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

Well, I always give priority to quality over quantity, but I always get this question. The answer changes from couple to couple but the average is 100 for the minimum time interval of 2 hours.

• ABOUT YOUR EDITING, HOW MANY PICTURES WILL I GET IN BLACK AND WHITE AND HOW MANY IN COLORS? CAN I HAVE THE RAW FILES?

It’s an interesting question about the black and white, through my creative process I choose some pictures to black and white depending on the light, composition, and colors, in the end, they are around 35% of the total pictures delivered but let me know if you have any special request about this before the job. I can’t send you the RAW files. My editing is part of my process as a photographer and complements my look.

• HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET THE PHOTOS?

About 3-5 weeks after your ceremony. I’m as eager to see the pictures as you are, so you’ll probably get a preview before that.

• HOW DO I PAY?

I ask 30% of the total to hold the date because I only do one job per day, so this date is really special and yours and the rest is paid on the day of the photos. I send a PayPal invoice to you and the remaining amount in cash or check! The deposit is nonrefundable if you cancel the job.

I pour my heart and soul into every job since we set the schedule, sometimes before, and hope you feel all sorts of emotions when you look at my pictures. During your session, I will smile with you, laugh with you, cry with you, and then relive every emotion while editing your photos. There is something truly magical about capturing a heartfelt moment in time that will tell a story for years to come.

If you are OK with that, keep in touch, let’s have fun, talk about life, about traveling, movies and take good pictures :)
